At Blossom we know that leading with experience is vital, we have an experienced and diverse board of executive and non-executive directors  with incredibly strong stakeholder relationships within our local community and the broader LGBTQ+ community. Our board has a strong bias to action and with our extensive experience across multiple sectors, projects, and skills we’re proud to call this group our leadership team.

We’re proud to have representation of people of faith, people with additional needs, trans people, women, and people from working socio economic classes within our board of directors. As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, we’ll actively promote new board opportunities in locations that’ll help us increase the presence of under represented communities on our board.

Board Members

The Directors provide an independent view on the running of our business, governance and boardroom best practice. They oversee, constructively challenge and hold to account, management & our CEO in their implementation of our operational strategy and alignment of actions with funding focuses.

Danielle Bekker (She/Her)
Chair of the Board

Senior Executive with international experience in FMCG Innovation and Supply Chain. Passionate about unlocking disruptive innovation through collaboration across functions, geographies and how to embed the ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ in organisations. Danielle is also a trustee as The Sophie Hayes Foundation.

Faired Chopdat (He/Him)
Treasurer

An accomplished business leader and qualified chartered accountant with a background in finance, audit, risk management and strategic business transformation and change honed through 30 years of hands-on corporate experience. Faried is also an Independent Non Executive Director at WorldSkills UK.

Ella Evans (She/Her)

Ella Began her career as a production accountant on films & has since studied for the ACA at a market leading London firm. Ella also brings deep involvement in the trans-community, supporting a number of powerful initiatives within the healthcare, sports, and advocacy spaces.

Volunteer team

Our volunteer team collaborate with the leadership team support the delivery of programmes and services, designs our communications and gets stuck in!
