Sixty percent of LGBTQ+ young adults who are open about being LGBTQ+ within education feel the need to hide their identity when they enter the workplace for the first time. This has significantly poor impacts on the work, job satisfaction, and retention of LGBTQ+ employees, in fact, over 57% of LGBTQ+ employees have left a job as a result of feeling that their identity has not been respected. We know workplaces that take active steps to ensure that LGBTQ+ people have equitable & inclusive experiences get the most of out their employees including better quality work and less staff turn over.
We also know that 18 to 24 years olds are twice as likely to identify as LGBTQ+ compared to older generations, this is why our training stands out from the crowd.
